Are guests that check in and then leave hours later doing what I think they're doing?

I get the same couple every week on the same day, check in around 5pm leave around 9 or earlier. They're young and I see other young couples do this less frequently. Are they really just checking in to do their business and then leaving? Seems like an awful lot of money (over 150) to hangout in our boring hotel that is permanently stuck in 2008. Is it a cultural thing? Its almost never white people. If I was doing a date night at a hotel personally I'd stay til the morning probably. Side note, I know its your room but the amount of people who leave toilet seats up blows my mind.
