Is it just me?

Or does The Cult's Sonic Temple slap so fuckin' much?

I've been recently listening to the album a lot and I can't get enough of it. It's a lil' bit hair metal, but mostly hard rock and I feel like it just checks all of my boxes. I dig other records of theirs too, but ST is somehow my favorite. Tbh I was quite surprised how many not so good reviews it got at the time of its release (according to wikipedia).

What are ur thoughts on it?
