out of the loop. need a new windows CAD laptop for Rhino and Sketchup.

haven't bought a laptop or even paid attention to them in years. my last one was an Acer Nitro that I maxed out and it lasted for like 7 years.

Have a new job doing sketchup and rhino for a residential design/build company. They're buying me a laptop and I need to know what to tell them to get. I also use Solidworks although I don't know that I will be doing that at this job.

I can use mac or windows but prefer Windows due to the better options for design software and the fact that you can upgrade the machines later with more RAM etc.
