-
The Cubs and Bears are my teams
-
I’ve been to 17 MLB baseball stadiums, my favorite being Wrigley (of course) with Dodger Stadium perhaps a close second.
-
My favorite vacation spots in the US are the Jersey Shore (yes, really!) Gulf coast of Florida, and maybe even Hawaii (wish it wasn’t so far)
-
Internationally, I love London and Tokyo. Both cities are steeped in history and I could spend a lifetime there
-
I wish I lived in New York City and San Francisco in my 20s
-
My first concert that I went to on my own (that is without my parents) is Stone Temple Pilots
-
I’ve been to a LOT of good concerts including seeing Pearl Jam at a high school football field, Smashing Pumpkins here in Chicago at Metro and Aragon. I’ve also seen Smashing Pumpkins in Munich, Germany in the early 00s
-
My first trip to Europe was in 2000
-
It feels weird telling people these days that I first visited Europe before the Euro. It’s like I’m describing an ancient time.
-
I wish I spent more time traveling in my 20s and not take my job so seriously
-
I have been listening to a lot of 80s and 90s music over the past 2-3 years including Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, George Michael. Lots of pop music in there too.
-
My first trip to Asia was in 2004 to visit Japan. I’ve since been back to Japan 3x and I’m going there again this summer (!!)
-
I’ve additionally been to China, Thailand, and Hong Kong in Asia
-
I am starting to think about my life post working career. I have lots of ideas
-
I am not sure I have a bucket list of places I’d like to visit. I’ve traveled a lot, seen a lot. I would love to travel more, but I don’t have a bucket list.
-
I regret not seeing Nirvana and Prince before their untimely deaths
-
My kids can’t read cursive and I find that … odd. They can’t read the constitution, which is scary.
-
I love going to New York, but I enjoy it more when the wheels to my flight leave the ground for home.
-
My other favorite groups/musicians include: Tori Amos, Alanis Morissette, Cake, Dave Brubeck, The Chainsmokers, Zedd, San Holo, Kiiara, Dave Matthews Band and The Killers. (Just to give you a taste)
-
I am 5’7
-
I would describe my build as average. I don’t workout everyday to say I have a hardbody
-
I have a Peloton and use it often
-
I have fond memories of the internet back in the late 90s
-
I love burgers
-
I love drinking beers.
-
I love telling stories.
-
People who use shortcuts like R and U drive me crazy and makes me think less of the other person
-
I love going to Spring Training and being so close to the ball players
-
I don’t like reading long form stuff … but sometimes I do.
-
I paid for my own college with jobs I had back then
-
I am a travel hacker. I’ve only recently realized this is a hobby.
-
I have never driven to work - I’ve always used public transport. (Odd? Not sure!)
-
I love coffee - I do not trust people who don’t drink it
-
I am trying to be healthier
-
My favorite season is summer, followed by fall, which is an extended summer
-
My least favorite season is winter and spring. Spring to me is extended winter.
-
As I get older, I dislike winter more and more
-
While I love watching NFL games, I haven’t been to a game at Soldier Field since 2001.
-
My high school was an open campus. I have fond memories of going to lunch with friends

-
I rode my bike almost everyday for 12 miles during COVID lockdown
-
I’ve had grey hair since high school
-
I’ve run in one marathon, not sure I’ll do it again. I do enjoy running, just not sure I want to do it for 26.3 miles

I have never played pickleball. Want to teach me?
If you made it this far, and I sound like someone you’d like to connect with, drop me a line!
