Any adult harp learners here that major in harp?
Like the title says, I started learning the harp at 30 (couldnt afford the instrument up till that point), was totally in love, and stuck with it for about a year before life took over—medical issues and a new (unexpected) baby.
Realistically, it looks like I won’t be able to seriously restart until I’m around 36. So I’ve been wondering: if I still have the passion and the financial means then, would it be reasonable to pursue a bachelor’s degree in harp purely for personal development? I have always wanted to have a degree in harp, just to feel proud of myself.
Has anyone gone back to school for music later in life just for the love of it? I’d love to hear your experiences
