We want to cry!

So this morning I (45F) purchased 3 tickets for SMOSH READS REDDIT STORIES @The Caviler in Massachusetts -- for myself and 2 of my 3 daughters (12 & 22) - (3rd one not a SMOSH fan -🤷‍♀️)

Tonight I got a message from the youngest one's cheer coach that they got a wildcard bid and are going to Nationals.

It's July 19th.... in South Carolina.

We had planned a road trip up to Mass, spent several hours looking at places to stay, making sure we can get off work. Besides, 12ish hours isn't too bad with 2 drivers...and Hello!! we can bringe Reddit Stories on the ride!!

My oldest is still going because OMG! I would never expect her to give up this opportunity just because I can't go!!

Who knows, maybe between now and then we can convert the 3rd child into a SMOSH fan and they can have a girl's road trip with one of their friends!! (planes are expensive!)

Worst case scenario -- I'm really glad I purchased the travel insurance. Then maybe somebody else might be lucky enough to go!

Or best case scenario, I'll come into some money and be able to fly.

I'm still holding out hope that by some miracle.... we'll all be able to go.
