Italy vs Austria

Applying for Schengen from Australia. I have held a visa before from France. Ideally, I want to multiple entry long-term Visa.

Which of the two countries, (Italy and Austria) has a higher chance of granting the Visa?

My trip is flexible so I can make either one of my main destination. But my flight is from Brisbane to Italy both ways.
