Would a bottle of Baccarat Rouge 540 be a suitable birthday gift?

Hello r/AustralianMakeup readers,

I was hoping that you could offer some advice, as I’m a bit lost as to what to do.

My husband is quite taken by Baccarat Rouge 540, and has purchased a dupe of it for himself. Unfortunately, the dupe is pretty ordinary, and wears off rather quickly.

He doesn’t get too excited for his birthday, and is generally a little bit hopeless when it comes to thinking of gifts for himself.

His 40th birthday is coming up soon - should I surprise him with a bottle of the good stuff? I can’t very well ask him without spoiling the surprise, so I thought I would ask if you all.

Do you think it would be a sufficient birthday gift?
