should i accept this job offer or will it effect me to much. please help

For context, I went for a trial at a council run dog pound yesterday. The area it’s in is prolifically known for roaming dogs due to poverty & people not de sexing / vaxxing / microchipping. Around 30 dogs a day get brought in, the shelter holds around 150-200. These dogs are feral. We walked through the rows and there were dogs on either side in small concrete kennels going nuts. My job would be to clean, exercise, feed, medicate and socialise them. I love that part of the role. The other bit is to participate in euthanasia. Pretty much hold the dogs while they get injected and transfer them to a freezer. They put down upto 40 dogs every Monday & Wednesday due to spacing issues. Yesterday I was there to witness the process. The was ZERO lovely involved. They brought them in, injected them and the dog fell to the floor and they were dragged away to a freezer. It was just so cold. I understand that you cannot have a sensitive mindset but i thought there would be at least some love shown. These dogs have 0 chance at any rehabilitation. I love 90% of the job but the euthanasia part fucked me up. I was so sad all day and felt sick. They’ve offered me the role, i’m not sure what to do.
