Store filtering issue

When i try to search for things in the steam store on my pc, it will select the filter i picked and highlight it in the bright blue color, but with no check in the check box, and it wont let me unselect anything making me have to fully exit the searching menu and go back to unselect the filters. Anyway to fix this? Ive cleared my download cache and web browser cache.

Ive also noticed when i click a filter it highlights the sort by drop down for a second and the address bar shows "force_infinite=1&" in between the "search?" And "tags="
