Those that have separated from their spouse

was it helpful? was it permanent leading to divorce. did you try marriage counseling, was that helpful, or a waste of money? I had a post up under a different account yesterday about issues with my wife lying, and hiding things from before we married. im actively looking for an apartment to separate. asking those that have how it either helped or hurt things.
