First time on an r4r type of sub so I'm putting my faith before everything 🤞

About me:

• Quirks- I'm always caffeinated and I'm always poking around to pick out the next hobby to occupy my curiosity with. I've done equestrian, MMA, pole fitness. Next stop I'll be putting on the aprons for some cooking courses over the spring/summer. If you have any suggestions, I'd be more than happy to try something of yours.

• Hustle- I've pumped the brakes in my career now that I'm in a position to have a great work-life balance. I have a few side projects here and there but they are not enduring.

• Sunday routine- Gym, groceries, meal prep, home improvement, and skincare. Just like my maintenance stash, my wardrobe is probably bigger than yours.

• Features- 6’/1.82m, bronze highlights, fashionably slouched over like The Thinker rocking Hedi Slimane. I wear short shorts on leg days. Possible doppelganger to Wheesung or Jay Park ¯_(ツ)_/¯

Lifestyle:

• I enjoy staying active. A lot of my physical hobbies involve moving around, weather/season permitting. I exercise regularly and have a rotation of activities throughout the year from tennis, skiing, golf, and hiking in addition to hitting the gym.

• Self-care is also quite important in this regard such meditation and reflection. I'm a proponent of mental health as I've had my battles in the past. Downtime and personal space is extremely important to me.

Hobbies

• Piano- I grew up studying classical piano and my favourite composers/pianists are Chopin, Liszt, and Schubert. Bucketlist item includes visiting Poland for the Chopin fest.

• Traveling- I guess this is a top hobby for most people with passports? I enjoy learning about music, art, architecture, and history but with an Euro-centric focus. 'suppose the musical influences growing up had something to do with that.

• Languages- I speak Mandarin and French and I've been studying German for a bit.

• Art/fashion/modelling- I remember being a kid and really appreciated highly technical works of art but now I find the more abstract things to be more insightful. I enjoy doing silly interpretations of art and I do hobby modeling every once in a while to supplement that creativity. Would love to try and incorporate cosplay ideas with a partner.

• Shows/Movies/Music- I never say no to true crime, horror, sci-fi, or action. True crime is inspirational and horror helps me sleep 🤭 thanks my neurodivergent brain. For music, I have a large variety in my playlist but A7X would be my favourite band of all time. I enjoy partaking in karaoke every now and then for some 70s and 80s classics.

• Video Games- I'm maxed out on RuneScape with 17k hours lol. Between that and my entire gaming collection, I probably have spent 20k hours total. Currently committed to Helldivers 2.

What I'm looking for:

• Looking for someone adventurous, active, emotionally and self aware, curious and hungry for the world. Being hundreds or thousands of KMs away may be daunting but I have no qualms even if it took some time for us to adjust. Sometimes I fantasize about being just lover pen pals, sending handwritten letters and such to get the message through and safekeeping them for enduring memories.

• I'll fall for you if you be my rock and keep me grounded, keeping my ambitions in check. Huge bonus if you are intertwined/also fascinated with the Germanic, Latin, or Slavic cultures and languages so that way we can talk about those intricacies and debate whether a recession is really a recession if it doesn’t come from la region Récession de la France.
