Both my Instagram accounts got suspended for CSE/integrity and the appeal SMS won't send??

Hi everyone,

Today (March 4, 2026) both of my Instagram accounts were suspended and I'm honestly really confused and upset.

One account (an edit account) says it was suspended for violating community standards related to child sexual exploitation. The thing is, the account only had edits of WWE wrestlers, basically a shit post account, nothing inappropriate at all.

My main account was then suspended for "account integrity" because it says it may be associated with the other account.

Both accounts say I have 180 days to appeal, so they aren't permanently disabled yet. I tried to appeal, but the problem is that the phone verification step isn't working. Instagram says it sent an SMS code, but I never receive anything. Now one of the accounts says I have to wait 24 hours before requesting another code.

I already completed the video selfie verification for my main account, but I’m still waiting for a response.

Has anyone else had this happen recently? Especially with a CSE flag? And did you manage to get your account back or fix the SMS verification issue?

Any advice would really help because right now I’m kind of stuck in the appeal process.
