Any stories of short cervix remaining stable throughout pregnancy?

I have a shorter cervix of about 28mm, due to a cone biopsy done years ago. I am obviously petrified but the preterm surveillance midwife is not in the slightest and wants to remove me from monitoring plan. I am currently 28 weeks and was just wondering if anyone has any stories to share about a shortish cervix remaining stable throughout? When did they stop monitoring you?
