Why do girls like tall guys like who are above 6 ft

Two girls in my class were sitting behind me discussing about the type of guys they like and both of them agreed that they will date only someone who is above 6 or max 5'10 not below that even if he is good looking .. and tbh i dont understand whats there so much in tall guys am 5 '8 at 17 amd it really breaks my heart seeing gurls having such standards
