am I an inconsiderate daughter?

ok so, on January, I asked my parents for a tablet because I need it for my acads; I created a ppt showing the advantages of having one, pros and cons, and why I feel like I deserved it. I've never asked them for anything, as in. I grew up relying on myself, I never demanded things, especially those that I wanted but I knew I can live without. so, that was why I created a whole 17 slides ppt to ask for a tablet because I don't know how to ask them. don't misunderstand, I have an I think healthy relationship with my parents; I can talk to them about my struggles and whatnot, I guess I just don't know how to ask for things haha. also, after I showed the ppt, my dad said that he would save up for it and that I would have it on February, I was overjoyed and was really excited on the whole of February; everyday, I would think "is this the day?" but I didn't received any tab, I was disappointed, but I thought maybe they're still saving up. last week on February, they told me I will have my tab next week, my hope and excitement returned. however, just this night, I overhead my parents talking about stuffs and all, and my dad said passingly about my tablet, but my mom told him "it's not very important nor the priority." of course I was hurt because it's more of a need than a want, and I stated on the ppt just how and why, so to hear them brushing it off actually hurts haha. please help, I don't want to feel like this cause I know there are more important things they have to prioritize, but I can't stop, I want to. I don't like feeling like this cause I know if they became aware of it, they will be hurt
