I've slowly stopped talking to my friends
I(27f) never found it hard to make friends at school or uni, but after graduation, I realised I didn't have a very social life. Once lockdown hit, I was really isolated and living in a small town with no one my age (mid-20s). I made friends online, and it worked for a while. I also kept in touch with old friends from school/uni over text, calls, and once-a-year trips. Since most of them live in different cities, I haven't seen them for years now. Now that I'm in my late 20s with nothing exciting about my life, no friends, I can go out and have coffee or go on dates with my partner. I don't really have anything to update my long-distance friends about. Most of them are in a serious relationship or have found their own social circle. I just end up talking to strangers on Reddit if I get bored on weekends. Ik I can do better by keeping in touch with my old friends, but I don't really have anything going for me. I'm turning into a sad loner as I approach my 30s.
