Is 1440p external monitor worth it?

i am thinking of getting a 1440p monitor cause i wanted an extra monitor and 25ms response time is giving me another reason.

i have lenovo loq 15irx10

i7 14700hx

5050

16gb ddr5 5600mhz

1tb

i want to play both fps games and story mode, simulations like fh5 etc.

60+ fps in story mode i think is enough to enjoy.
