Deep tragus piercing

Hey, I got my tragus piercing done about two weeks ago (with a short labret bar), a week ago i changed the bar to a longer one myself (as i was sick and couldnt go out) because the bar was way too small when i got it pierced. I feel like it is way too deep as I had a lot of trouble, I couldn’t find the hole from the back with a taper, and if inserted from the front, it went straight to the inside of my ear. Is it normal? If not, would it heal properly? The bar is a labret bar and I clean it daily with Asept, about twice a day, I sleep with a travel pillow. There is no pain, and I usually forget it is even there.
