Cats don’t get along after that.

Behavioral

I have two cats, one is a momma (2y) and the other is the baby (F 6m) to that momma. I’ve had both since the baby was 4 weeks old. I recently got them both spayed and since then, momma has not liked the baby at all. I’ve separated them both during the spay healing process but have been trying to reintroduce them but have had no luck. I stay in a one bedroom apartment and can only isolate it to two spaces, so I’ve had one set up in the bedroom/bathroom and the other in the living room. I’ve been swapping cats to spaces, swapping blankets around rooms, using cat pheromones, and treats outside of door, but it’s been no help. Any time I try and get them to smell each other through a cracked door, momma cat hisses at the baby. I can’t live like this forever, as they will both cry as soon as I’m in the other room. I’m getting no sleep, I’m running out of ideas, I feel like I’m losing my mind. Please help.
