Renegotiating after survey…

We’re in the process of buying a property as FTB.

We received the survey last week, and it highlighted a couple of condition 3 problems that we hadn’t noticed (nothing hugely expensive to fix, the quotes I’ve got are around £10k to remedy - realistically we’d do most of the work ourselves). The surveyor originally withheld the valuation and we are expecting to receive it this afternoon. I’m expecting this to come back at less than the price we have agreed, as the surveyor sounded very negative about the property (not for structural issues).

Our lender did a desktop valuation which came back at our agreed price.

If the valuation comes back lower from the surveyor, would you renegotiate? Even if it doesn’t would it be worth trying to negotiate regarding the repairs?
