New to all this - but I really want to do it!!

So I came up with an idea that I could try just in my local area. It would be a business consisting of making party bags/boxes for kids under 12 that would be an animal adoption box with adoption certificate, tiny blanket, traits etc. I think this would sell in my area IF I can somehow keep the retail price below say £45 for 12 boxes.

My problem is I’m struggling to find any wholesale ‘plushies’ that are less than £1 each and are actually cute looking. I can probably invest in a printer and keep some stuff pretty cheap but how on earth do people manage to make a profit on this kind of stuff?

Just looking for advice really
