Cruciate ligament

Hi everyone,

I was at the dog park with my dog a couple of days ago when I suddenly heard a yelp when she was chasing her ball. I immediately rang our vet who saw her straight away. She said it was a possible cruciate ligament injury which could mean surgery but to give it a few days so she's booked in again on monday for an x-ray and a few other tests. We also have insurance. Is there anything I can do to help her with boredom for now such as using treat toys as all she can do is basically sleep. I just feel awful as she can't really do anything and she loves to socialise and play. Any advise/ideas is welcome! she's 5 years old and 12kg.
