What’s one AI coding habit that genuinely improved your productivity?
I’m trying to build better programming habits this year and wanted to ask other learners/devs here:
What is one AI-assisted coding habit that actually improved your productivity (without making your fundamentals worse)?
I’m not looking for "just use AI for everything" answers — more like practical workflows, for example:
- using AI to draft test cases first
- using it for rubber-duck debugging
- using it to explain unfamiliar codebases
If possible, share:
- your stack
- the exact workflow
- what measurable improvement you saw (time saved, fewer bugs, faster learning, etc.)
Would love to collect real, non-hype examples people can copy.
