Internet randomly goes down

Hello. I've been having some problems with my internet for some time now. I have my computer connected through ethernet cable, but sometimes I randomly lose access to the internet. I notice pages not loading and then after a bit it shows the "no internet connection" icon. To solve the problem i have to reconnect the cable on either end, or if i go the windows troubleshooting and restart the computer's network adapter it starts working again. The router is new, as I asked my ISP to change it, and the cable is also new. On windows troubleshooting it also says that it couldn't connect to DHCP server or something like that. This issue happens randomly, sometimes I can use the PC for hours and it doesn't happen, sometimes it happens several times in a span of minutes. I would appreciate some help. I'm starting to think It may be a problem with my PC's network adapter, but I'm not sure.
