Help on knitting V-hem?

i'd like to knit something in stockinette that ends with a V, like a V-hem or a pointed hem. I figured i-cord would be necessary for it not to curl, but I can't seem to find any pattern or tutorial to do this. Does anyone have one? Thanks a lot!
