Export for printing PDF with idividual elelements?

I'm a very newbie designer, and I would appreciate it if some more experienced designers could guide me in the correct direction.

I made a design of a badge for a small event; they are gonna print it, but they are asking me to send them a fully packaged InDesign file or a PDF including the individual elements. On Canva I can export it as a PDF but would that include the individual elements? Please, if anyone could help me on how to prepare the design for printing I will be very thankful!
