Downloading COD on steam

I recently got a PC, and was wondering how you even download it. I downloaded the game twice (specifically Bo6 and the launcher) and every time I press play, it says it’s running for about 10 seconds, then goes back to the same screen on steam. Any idea what’s happening? I’ve tried verifying the files.

I think it might be where it’s located, but it’s on my C drive.
