My internet speed is constantly dropping out on my laptop
I've been having this problem since last week. I have a Acer Aspire Go 15 AG15-51P-510U with Windows 11. I'm using a MediaTek MT7902 Wireless LAN Card as the driver.
The internet works normally, then drops for a few minutes, then comes back on, all while the Wi-Fi icon remains lit with full bars. In the Wi-Fi performance section of Task Manager, I can see my internet speed fluctuating; it's at 0Kbps most of the time, then briefly increases, only to drop back to 0Kbps.
I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver (both auto and manually). I've also tried using 802.11ac instead of 802.11ax, but the problem persists. I've also followed tutorials to completely reset the network to factory settings, but nothing works. Wi-Fi works fine on my other devices, so I've ruled out a router issue.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue? What can I do?
