Stop Treating Your Time As If It's A "Free" Trial
"......Every morning we have 86,400 seconds to spend and to invest. Each day the bank named "Time" opens a new account for you and for me. It allows no balances and no overdrafts. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is your."
~ Billy Graham ~
Wow. What a powerful reminder about our limited time here. As of late, I've been asking myself, "What kind of legacy will I leave behind?
We get so caught up in the current chaos that we forget how limited and precious our time is. We complain about the inevitable. We get upset with things that we need to do. We forget to love our neighbors as we love ourselves.
As the powerful quote from Billy Graham states, every day we get a new balance of time. What we do with each second of each day is up to us, but however we choose to spend that time we must remember we can't get it back. We can't turn back the clock or go into a time machine to change anything. It's gone forever.
Are we making the best of our time? Are we using it wisely? Are we constantly doom-scrolling on social media? Are you not doing anything at all with your time? Are you learning new things about life or yourself?
If not, what are you doing with your time to better your life? Are you going to let time slip by? Will you want to start doing something you needed to start years ago?
