31 years old going back to school

I’m really debating on going back to school to pivot into a different professional field. 70+ hours a week for 3 years in trucking has destroyed my health. However being older, I’m concerned about the political climate of colleges & universities. I consider myself very moderate and don’t really care about politics, but it seems you have to swing with the majority by default or you’re outcasted at these institutions. I simply just want to get my degree and move on without getting involved with protesting and activism. It just seems college these days can be a very volatile place if one isn’t ready to play the politics game.
