I couldn't sleep. I was scrolling through messages deleting the boring ones when his popped up. It said "I know you'll never read this but you made me smile today and I just wanted to thank you for existing." Something about the timing and the honesty hit different at 2am. I replied "I read it." He responded in seconds like he couldn't believe it. We started talking and didn't stop. Every message got deeper, more personal, more flirty. By 4am he was telling me things he'd never told anyone and I was doing the same.

We talked every single night for two weeks straight. Same time, 2am, like it was our secret world. One night he said "I wish I could hold you right now." He was only an hour away. I said "then come hold me." He showed up at 3am in sweats with messy hair and tired eyes and he was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. I opened the door and he pulled me into him without saying a word. We stood in my doorway hugging for five minutes. Then he carried me to bed and held me exactly like he said he would. It started soft, just touching and breathing together, then slowly turned into the most intimate night of my life. He was inside me and we were forehead to forehead the entire time. I fell asleep in his arms and he was still there at noon. Have you ever wanted to message me late at night but didn't?
