Devs should acknowledge the slurs
I enjoy good PvPvE games, such as Hunt: Showdown and ARC Raiders.
But one huge difference i noticed is the amount of toxicity in ARC Raiders.
People rarely say GGs or laugh about the PvP encounter, even when they are on the winning side.
More often than not I either receive death wishes or get called racial/homophobic slurs.
I am actively reporting such individuals, but I don't feel like that is accomplishing anything.
Potential solution: just as we have a Trials score/ladder, it would be great to see some sort of an "Honor" score/ladder, not dissimilar to what League of Legends has.
We could passively increase our "Honor", but also get a boost from other players or a penalty from the devs if found guilty after reports.
The system could provide minor buffs/debuffs and perhaps a cosmetic to incentivize good behavior. Like scrappy having a chance to find higher rarity items as a reward.
Punishment for people who have greatly reduced their honor could be something like locking them out of the game for a few hours>days>weeks, taking away their ability to run "Free kits" limitlessly, increasing prices for gear crafting/repair/purchase in Speranza.
I am not a game dev and these are just some ideas thrown together in the spur of the moment. I just want the devs to at least give us feedback if someone has been punished for toxicity.
It would be awesome to hear more people say "GG" after a fight, rather than foulmouth each other.
