Rebooking flights on the 10th

Hi, my flight is from Dublin to Abu dhabi to India on the 10th. I saw online that you can rebook flights til the 10th but my flight status is 'on time' should i rebook or if can i straight up cancel and get a refund? I am assuming they wont rebook you with another airline, but im not sure if i should wait til mine gets cancelled or see if the situation gets better and take the flight on the 10th?
