You lose 3 games in a row. Do you stop, or keep going?

Common sense would obviously say stop. Things can easily get worse.
From personal experience, I’ve proven that many times — when 3 losses turn into 4. And before you even realize it, your whole day is gone and you’re sitting there with 9 losses in a row.

But sometimes… there are exceptions.

For example, yesterday I decided to play after taking a month-long break. I didn’t really care about getting back into form. I’m too old to warm up for 30 minutes before playing (and too lazy, honestly).

So the result was predictable — 3 games completely thrown away. No hero moments, no “gans”, nothing. At best I was sitting on a 0.5 KD.

But I didn’t give up.

I went outside for a bit, got some fresh air, came back and immediately queued again. I was in the zone — that’s the only way to describe it.

+4 games in a row where nobody could really stop me.

And the cherry on top was the last match — a completely dead game that we had to finish with a bot. Somehow I managed to carry it and pull the win out myself. Still not sure how that even happened.

The whole thing took around 6 hours. I was tired as hell afterwards.

But the feeling when you don’t just end a session +1, but actually pull off a ridiculous comeback session from -3 to +1… that feeling is incredible.

That said, I must warn you.

Do not try to repeat this madness.

It’s dangerous for both your mental health and your peripherals.
