PC shutting down then boots BIOS
So i was on my pc for around 10 minutes when my Spotify started sounding really choppy and all of a sudden everything stopped and i got a black screen, no blue screen as if the pc just reset. It then automatically rebooted into the BIOS, and i cannot exit since it just keeps looping back into the bios.
I’ve already taken out the CMOS battery as well as the ram and gpu. The last 2 might seem unrelated, but this whole thing has happened to me twice previously and unplugging those 3 have always fixed it.
For context:
The past two time’s have been related to the pc being unplugged for an extended period of time for surge protection whilst I’m on holidays, and i believe this time is also related to that too as i had 2 power outages recently in a span of 1 hour. i disconnected the psu because i was scared it was going to surge and i left it disconnected the whole night.
Apologies for the yap but I am a little worried because i cannot be assed getting a new pc with these current ram prices, so im trying to give as much info/context as possible.
