NDA, is it strictly enforced?

Hi, I hope someone could enlighten me. Strictly enforced ba talaga ang NDA/Non-Compete agreement if you work for a US based business / client pero yung company nyo is registered to another country like HK pero working kayo in an office based here sa PH? (office based thru a BPO company)

I know na some VA company are registered through HK due to tax reasons but what if an “employee” was caught due to breach of contract may habol ba talaga sa kanya?

This happen a lot of times sa company namin pero wla namang nangyayari sa mga lumalabag lol just curious kasi as far as I know wla.
