I really like the MacBook Neo. I personally don’t need a MacBook Pro nor a MacBook Air; I don’t need all that power. I’ve been wanting to replace my MacBook Air M1 (sold it), and now I feel this is personally a decent replacement laptop for me. I can honestly use it for my job. The reason being, I don’t do photo editing or video editing.

I mainly use the internet a lot for my job for CRMS, spreadsheets, emails, and reaching out to enquiries of properties I have on the market. I’ve been wanting to buy a new MacBook, but this actually fits the bill. And the price is extremely affordable. I feel this is for people who also want to replace their MacBook Air M1’s that they’ve had for a very long time. I know people say it’s for education purposes, but this can also be used for people in the office as well that jobs don’t require heavy usage like myself. My job revolves more on admin, contracts, spreadsheets, cold calling, putting properties on the market, and reaching out to enquiries.

I don’t see the need for M2 or M5, etc. I honestly don’t need that much power if I’m being honest with myself. All I need is space and 512GB for $699? Not bad at all. This is honestly on my radar without paying an exorbitant price anymore. I’m definitely getting one later in the year.

I really like the MacBook Neo, I feel I have finally found a Mac that matches my needs
