Ko Phangan Price Change

Hi!

Two years ago, my husband and I stayed on Koh Phagnan for 2 months during the low season (July and August) and loved it. We were able to find a nice apartment for $400 a month that included breakfast. I cannot for the life of me find this persons contact info.

This year, we want to go back and I have been reaching out to a few people on Facebook marketplace and the prices are insane. Over $1,000 USD per month. I am being taken for a ride, right? No way did the pricing change this much.

Does anyone have any connections on the island that would be able to help me find an apartment? Or can anyone tell me what kind of price range to expect?

FWIW, we are hoping to stay in the NE corner of the island, doesn't need to be near a beach necessarily but would like it to be 1 bedroom with a living area with a couch and kitchen.
