Good spots for nightlife around Melbourne?

Hey! I'm a 20 year old gay trans man living around Melbourne right now and I'm interested in meeting some new people. I've got some "day time" activities lined up but I'm also wondering which bars/ clubs are best for people like me. I know of a couple gay bars but honestly, I'm not so sure if they'd be welcoming for someone who isn't cis. I'm currently pre-T but I've got my first GP consult booked for the end of this month so I'm kinda planning ahead hahaha

I've been clubbing with my friends before but it was never to meet people so I'm kinda lost on that front. Anyways, just looking to hear about what it's like and what to expect and if there are any places I should check out or avoid.
