General advice on preparation

I have been preparing for SSC exclusively for the passed 2 years but still haven’t even crack the phase 1 exam, I am seriously considering opting for banking exams instead and clerk is kinda out of the question given i am already 27. I heard the preparation is almost the same other then some aspects. I would like some suggestions regarding the transitioning the preparation to banking exams.
