Sit or stand?

Recently, I had a co-worker ask me whether I would sit or stand after having the loo for wiping.

My co-workers wife said that he was a weirdo for standing while wiping. After asking around it almost seems like a 50/50 split. Either sitting down, leaning to one side / between the legs, or standing when wiping.
