Amazon delisted my products in Germany. Here's what I missed.

Had everything set up for selling in Germany. VAT registered, listings live, first sales coming in.

Then got a compliance notice from Amazon and listings went dark.

The reason was EPR registration, something I had never come across before. Extended Producer Responsibility is completely separate from VAT and requires you to register with environmental authorities for packaging, electronics and batteries in each country you sell into.

As a non-EU seller you also need an EPR Authorised Representative handling your registration and EPR reporting with local authorities.

Used Lovat to sort it all out, had my numbers within about 10 days and listings back up shortly after.

If you're selling into Germany or planning to, sort EPR registration before you launch not after.
