Question about long-term bans and Jagex support after many years

Question

Hi everyone,

I wanted to ask the community about their experiences with customer support and long-term bans in Old School RuneScape.

My account D E N Z O was permanently banned back in December 2020. I submitted two appeals over time, but both were denied very quickly. Since then I haven’t been able to get any further review through the appeal system.

Now that more than six years have passed, I’m wondering how these situations are normally handled. I’ve seen some discussions where older bans were occasionally reconsidered or reviewed after several years, but I’m not sure how common that actually is.

To be completely honest, it has been such a long time that I can’t clearly remember every detail around the offence anymore. If the offence was mine, then I understand the rules and take responsibility. At the same time, I would really appreciate the chance for a genuine manual review after such a long period.

I spent a lot of time on the account and supported the game with membership for years, so it has been frustrating not knowing if there’s any way to have the case looked at again.

I’m mainly posting to ask the community:

Has anyone had success getting a ban reviewed after 5+ years?

Does Jagex ever reconsider very old permanent bans?

Is there any realistic path to request a manual review once appeals are exhausted?

If any JMods happen to see this, I would genuinely appreciate any guidance on whether a review is possible.

Thanks everyone.
