Hello all,

I am a 38 year-old female from Izmir, Turkey. I work as an assistant professor of architectural history.

I have been often told that I am a sophisticated, serious, responsible, yet friendly person. I also consider myself someone kind, calm, and respectful. Having a fairly introverted character, my hobbies revolve around reading (classics, crime fiction, history, politics, philosophy, etc.), watching tv shows and movies (mostly crime and thriller stuff), going to theater and operas, visiting exhibitions and museums, sometimes cooking and playing video games when I can. I have a wide range of interests and like to talk about art (because I teach art history), architecture (because I am a licensed architect), science, history, philosophy, politics, languages, and technology. I also enjoy learning about anything, a job habit.

I have been recently awarded a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship of 11 months at the University of Nottingham and will come to Nottingham, UK in this September or October. So, I would like to meet someone from there or close areas to get to know the city and living conditions. Before I arrive, we can build a nice connection online. When I come, we can meet and spend time together. Due to the nature of my work, I often feel lonely and I don't want to feel that way when I am abroad. I'd like to meet a man to share anything that life brings. He should be around my age and definitely single and educated. I don't care about looks that much but I have a few photos of mine on my profile.
