Israel doesn't have any meaningful power over US and i am tired of IDS (Israel Derangement Syndrome)

Political

I know that its easy to blame everything on something vague, lesser known entity, its very normal to do so. However, when discussing geopolitics (particularly US foreign policies), i'd like to see at least some effort to be objective and nuanced, and not just "its da jooz".

I will clarify my view on Israel. My objective view is that israel serves one pupose only: a big base of military and intelligence operations for US to ensure Middle East has less stragetic influence of geopolitcal adversaries of US. Israel belongs to US, not other way around, which is exactly why US pours money into it. Maintaing your hold over region is crucial for any geopolitical actor, and ethics is genuinely not a concern for any geopolitical actor at any point of history. The simple truth is there will always be some superpower striving for control over other regions, and if you are american, you'd reasonably want your country to maintain that control.

Obviously, i am making this post in light of ongoing military campaing against Iran, and overwhelming number of people not understanding why its better for american to have iran as an ally of US and not remain islamic theocracy makes me question if these people even have basic logical abilities. Iranian regime change being beneficial to Israel IS NOT AN ARGUMENT AGAINST THIS REGIME CHANGE. Its pure IDS and i am exhausted of seeing this shit. I genuinely think its an unpopular opinion, so feel free to disagree.

No, i am not mossad agent, just some moron on the internet.
