8 months old septum irritated? Idk, help

So, I had my septum piercing for 8 months. a few days ago I got a new piercing except it was so hard to remove the 3d drawing thingy got pressed against the hole and therefore HURT A LOT. I removed it, and put a better piercing. But then the same hole started to hurt a lot. No much redness, no swelling, no itching, no weird stuff except the hole isn't perfectly round anymore. Then, I put a compress against the holes, I cleaned, I put an antibiotic creme, put the piercing back on, and poof. No more pain.

I did the same today, but it hurts SO BAD to put the piercing on when it touches the hole that got "injured".

is it bad? Should I remove the piercing? I don't want the hole to close😭😭 Thank you!!
