Imagine, if you will, being trapped in a horrible labyrinth, filled to the brim with beastly creatures seeking your end. Betrayed by your companions, left to the devices of a horrible monster so that they could seize its treasure and flee as the creature devoured you. A sacrificial lamb for their own fortune and glory.

However, Your indomitable will to live, the rage you felt, and a touch of fate, all coupled together to help you survive the encounter. Tired and wounded you limp your way towards the exit of the dungeon only to trigger a trap door that sends you plummeting down into the darkness. The surprises of the day do not end here, as you land upon a soft squishy surface.

'Ah,' you think to yourself. 'I must have landed on a gelatinous cube, which will now slowly devour me over the course of hours, I guess there was no getting out of here for me...' As you finally resign yourself to a slow, most likely painful death, you find that your body is cooled instead of being dissolved, your muscles are massaged instead of being disintegrated, your wounds are healed and- Oh That is definitely a few tendrils of slime infiltrating your damaged clothes.

As far as being taken advantage of by a monster goes it was surprisingly gentle, while still producing the most mind-bending orgasm you've ever had. Surprise on top of surprise it set you down on the ground and then apologized. In a voice you're not sure was coming from anything that even remotely resembled a throat, It explained that it really needed that, as it's mind has been a fog for quite some time without the right kind of energy to set it right. as thanks it's willing to help you escape the labyrinth, and perhaps even more if you so decide.

So it is that you've made a new companion in the depths of the dungeon. A surprisingly clever and considerably powerful protoplasmic blob. It can form armor over your body, provide you with weapons, use its fluid mass to generate incredible spells, And it's happy to do so so long as you occasionally let it have its way with you.
