My wireless headset keeps disconnecting in certain games

I have a wireless headset, it comes with a USB to plug into the computer, but when I get to very graphically demanding parts of a game, or have a big fps drop, my headset flicks itself off and turns back on after 20 seconds, it has happened in garrys mod alot, and it has happened in the game Peak too, at the same part twice. Its very annoying becasue I dont get to properly communicate with my friends and they have to re explain stuff to me because I couldn't hear. If anyone has any way to try and fix this or just tell me what the problem is, I would he very grateful, thanks.
