Getting the basics right

I see so many beautiful women and their nails, and I am in total awe! Kudos to you all <3

I have always struggled with painting my nails. I used to get my nails done at the salon, but now I avoid it because of how brittle they have become. I want to learn from you all how to properly paint nails at home without having a breakdown or without them chipping in a day or two. I don’t think I am getting the technique right even with the most basic nail polish (yes, I am embarrassed). I use OPI at the moment but would prefer cruelty-free nail options if you have some. Please help a girl with your wisdom 🤗
